The application is a tool for targeted encryption / decryption of files and is focused on the "ordinary" user. That is, the most simplified and understandable interface, the absence of hardware carriers of key information (NKI), etc.
Cryptography integration is based on the CryptoLib library, certified by the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, which supports international and Ukrainian cryptographic standards. Software NCI (PKCS#12), "key pair" based on elliptic curve X9.62 ECDSA(256), data encryption algorithm AES(256) is used.
The basic free functionality is encryption/decryption of files up to 100Kb in size.
Full functionality for a fee (via 1, 6 or 12 month subscription) - encrypt/decrypt files larger than 100KB, as well as encrypt text messages, audio or video recordings directly from the application.
How it works:
- When the application is launched for the first time, a so-called "key pair" (private and public key) is automatically generated and stored in the application.
- Through a QR code, you need to share your own certificate (public key) with all users who will encrypt their files on you.
- It is necessary to obtain certificates (public keys) of all users for whom you will encrypt your files. Certificates are scanned via a QR code and stored in the app.
- To encrypt, select the desired file in the application, specify the recipients for whom this file will be encrypted, and click Encrypt. Next, send the encrypted file to users, for example, by email or instant messenger. Only the specified users can decrypt this file.
- To decrypt, select the necessary encrypted file for you in the application, click Decrypt. The decrypted file can then be opened with the appropriate phone application. If this file has not been encrypted for you, then the decryption will fail.
